This session was a blast.  The plan was to start at the Heritage Park in Smithfield. Meeting a great couple with their dogs. The wind started to pick up...but no rain yet. I fell in LOVE with their two cute puppies...fighting over sticks. The large group wanted to meet at Mack Park in Smithfield. When I pulled up to tthe Park it was SUPER busy with families having picnics and enjoying the great weather. I was still in my car when it started to sprinkle. The Park cleared out and we had full access with no one around to photobomb....my favorite!  A little rain is no problem. I started with some individual shots while we waited for all the family to arrive. By the time they were all there....it was RAINING. We took shelter under a big Pine Tree and decided to wait it out. We got some great shots and I'm sure glad to have had an opportunity to photograph and meet tthis great family!
