There’s something so magical about mountain weddings in Utah. This day at Milly Chalet in Brighton was no exception.

The forecast called for storms, and we spent most of the morning watching the clouds roll across the peaks, wondering what the weather would bring. But in true mountain fashion, the couple decided to embrace it all! Cold temps, wind, and a bit of adventure! It turned out beautifully. After a cozy morning getting ready, the couple shared an intimate first look surrounded by the most stunning autumn colors. The crisp mountain air and golden aspens made for such a romantic setting.

Soon after, they moved inside for their Kebutah signing ceremony, before heading back outdoors for the ceremony itself. At the very last minute, they decided to hold the ceremony outside, and we’re so glad they did. The weather held just long enough...a few sprinkles and even a bit of hail couldn’t stop these two or their guests.

Bridesmaids and the bride bundled up in soft fur wraps, and everyone laughed through the chill, soaking in the moment after the ceremony for some photos. By the time the toasts began, the first snowflakes started to fall, dusting the pine trees outside the windows. Guests warmed up inside with dinner, toasts, and dancing. The perfect end to a day that truly celebrated love, resilience, and ten beautiful years together. This wedding was a reminder that sometimes the most memorable days are the ones that don’t go exactly as planned...and that love (and a good fur wrap!) can make any weather perfect.
