Last year, while I was photographing another wedding, these two were guests… and that’s when he proposed. Right there, in the middle of the reception..the bride handed her bouquet to Leslie and Brian proposed! And I had the honor of capturing that moment. Fast forward to this year, and I got to stand behind my camera again, this time documenting their own wedding day. Full circle moments like this are the kind that make this job so meaningful. A bright and sunny day on thursday, this wedding took place at a Jensen Nature Park. Wide open skies, water views, and a big leafy tree that gave us just enough shade to work with. The sun was definitely showing off. It was BRIGHT but they embraced it completely. And honestly? It fit them. The entire day felt warm with the sunlight pouring down, laughter echoing across the grass, and a sense of ease that comes when two families come together with open hearts. Blending two families into one was one of the most beautiful parts of this day. It wasn’t just about the couple—it was about everyone standing beside them. You could feel the history, the support, and the excitement for what’s ahead. These kinds of weddings always carry a little extra depth. There are more stories, more connections, more meaning layered into every moment.  Nothing about this day felt forced or overdone. From the relaxed outfits to the group portraits, everything reflected who they are... completely comfortable together. We cannot skip over one very important guest, Angel...their dog. Not only did this sweet pup make an appearance, but she absolutely stole the show with her Husky attitude!  It was the perfect reminder that weddings don’t have to follow a strict mold. The best ones reflect your real life. And for them, that absolutely included their four-legged family member.
